Craftsman 944593 3/8 in Microtork Torque Wrench Review

Craftsman 944593 3/8 in Microtork Torque Wrench Feature

  • Drive Size: 3/8.
  • Torque Range (inch/pounds): 25 - 250 in./lb.
Enclosed head design seals out contaminants for improved performance and life. Torque wrap design reduces stress on gear and pawl teeth. Rubber seal between ratchet head and tube keeps lubrication in and contaminants out of the torque mechanism, assuring accuracy and repeatability. Detent locking ring allows easy setting of desired torque and prevents accidental change of torque setting while in use. Single pawl, double tooth design will not operate in neutral position. Innovative linear ball bearing system eliminates friction between the spring and case for greater accuracy and repeatability. Produces a crisp, audible "click" over entire torque range. Lightly knurled and grooved handles provide non-slip grip and comfort.

  5. You need to watch the angle meter very carefully to get the correct value on it. You can finish the job when the required torque angle is obtained. In case you have more fasteners in the same application make sure that you tighten all of them to the same degree or at least as close as possible. TORQUE WRENCH GUIDE
